A Chihuahua and a Bunny Took the Red Wagon Around the Yard
In a battered red wooden wagon parked on the grass, a black and tan Chihuahua grins with her mouth slightly open while a small brown bunny sits snuggled against her side. Their ears and eyes are bright, and a bit of straw is tucked into the wagon bed beneath them. A weathered fence and green garden plants fill out the background, and the sun is just low enough to turn everything gold.
Chihuahuas are lively and loyal, and many of them love adventure as long as it is gentle and in good company. When taking a small pet on a ride in a wagon, a few safety steps help. Keep the pace slow, avoid bumpy ground, and never leave animals in the wagon unsupervised, since a tipped or rolling wagon can scare or hurt them. Rabbits can be startled by sudden motion, so a calm, short ride on smooth ground is best. Offer fresh water afterward, and keep both animals in shade on warm days. A little outing like this can be a fun way to bond.
The Chihuahua looks like the driver, even though she is not holding the handle. Her expression says she is thrilled with the whole thing. The bunny, as usual, takes it all in with a thoughtful stare. There is not much room in that wagon, but there is plenty of happiness.
