A Grey Persian Kitten Guards the Door in His Skeleton Sweater
His round gray face looks up with enormous copper eyes, and across his chest a black sweater with a tiny white skeleton hangs a little loose. The grey Persian kitten sits in an open doorway, one soft paw on the threshold. Behind him a pile of pumpkins, a jack-o'-lantern, a ring of keys with a pumpkin tag and a draping cobweb on the door frame set the Halloween scene, and boots and a bag sit on the floor.
Persian cats are known for their long, thick coats, short noses and sweet, quiet personalities. They are often calm and enjoy a peaceful home, and they need daily brushing to prevent tangles and mats. Their flat faces may lead to eye tearing and breathing issues, so regular checkups with a vet are a good idea.
A sweater is a gentle costume option, but the fit matters. It should be loose around the neck and legs, and not so thick that a fluffy cat overheats. Persians already wear a lot of fur, so a short photo moment is usually enough. Check that cobwebs and similar decorations near the door are out of reach, because the stretchy fibers can tangle a small cat.
We will call him Bones. He has a worried face that may only be his normal look, and the skeleton on the sweater makes it very funny. He is not at all spooky, but a very good candidate for the sweetest sight on the doorstep.
