An Abyssinian Kitten Haunts the Living Room as a Tiny Ghost
Only a pair of wide green eyes, a little pink nose and four tiny paws give it away. A white sheet with round eye holes covers a cinnamon Abyssinian kitten, who sits on a woven rug with a pointed ear poking through the sheet on either side. Behind her, a basket of blankets, a backpack, a few shoes and some mini pumpkins sit near the wall, and warm light fills the room.
Abyssinians are lean, active cats with a ticked coat and large ears. They are known for being curious and energetic, and they often enjoy playing, climbing and watching everything that happens in the house. A kitten like this one will probably be a champion at hide and seek, and she would likely enjoy a tall cat tree and plenty of interactive toys.
Bedsheet ghosts are a classic costume, but it is important to make the eye holes large enough for the kitten to see and to keep the sheet short enough that she cannot trip. Always supervise a kitten in a sheet, since she can get tangled or scared if she cannot find her way out. If she is nervous, keep it to a single photo and then a snuggle.
We will call her Casper. She is not trying to frighten anyone, and she seems quite happy to sit in the middle of the room and be adorable. This might be the cutest ghost haunting the house, and the only thing she is likely to take is a toy.
