A Siamese Cat Carries Off One Grey Glove Into the Snow
Out in the snow, a blue point Siamese is standing on her back legs, holding a grey knitted glove in her mouth like a prize. Her ears are tilted back and her pale blue eyes are fixed on the camera with a look that is half proud and half worried. The glove is almost as big as her face, and the sunny snow around her has a few dry leaves and a wooden bench behind.
Siamese cats are known for being talkative, social, and clever, and many love to carry things around. Fetching comes naturally to some of them, and they can learn to bring toys back when asked, which is probably how a glove ended up in her mouth. They are very attached to their people and can get bored or lonely when left on their own, so interactive games, puzzle feeders, and plenty of company help a lot. Short-coated cats feel the cold, so a Siamese should not be left outside in winter weather for long, and it is best to bring her in when the temperature drops. If she brings a glove or a sock inside, check that she has not chewed off any pieces she could swallow.
She will probably return the glove eventually, though only after it has been properly admired. Somewhere in the house, someone is wondering why they have only one glove, and the answer is standing in the snow.
