Two Fluffy Pups Sat in a Crate and Looked Very Innocent
In an old wooden crate on the tiled floor, two cream Havanese puppies sit side by side, looking out with identical sweet expressions. Their fluffy ears are the color of caramel and their button noses are black. A pair of slippers rests against the wall behind them, and the soft morning light gives everything a warm glow.
Crates are common with puppies, and a well-introduced one can become a cozy den. For a pup like this, a proper dog crate with a soft pad is a better everyday choice than an old wooden box, which can splinter. If you do use a crate, make it a pleasant place with toys, treats and a blanket, and never lock a puppy in as punishment. Short, positive sessions help a young dog adjust.
Havanese puppies often do best when they have company, and two together can be a lovely pair. Dogs of this breed enjoy being part of the family and may follow their people from room to room. Because they are so people-focused, they usually respond well to praise and treats, and they tend to learn house rules with consistency and kindness.
These two are in no hurry. They have each other, a box of their own, and what looks like the best view in the house. Their ears twitch at every small sound from the hallway, and it would not be surprising if a tail started to wag soon, from inside the crate.
