The Pomeranian Decorated the Whole Bathroom With Paper Streamers
Streams of toilet paper hang from the roll, drape across the sink and spill onto the floor around a small orange Pomeranian. His round eyes and pointed ears are fixed on the camera, and he sits perfectly still, a fluffy statue. A toilet, a laundry basket and a row of toothbrushes line the bright bathroom. He looks like the host of a party that nobody planned.
Pomeranians are lively, intelligent little dogs, and they have a fearless streak that makes them investigate everything. They bond closely with their families and may follow them into the bathroom. A bored Pomeranian can quickly find fun in a paper roll, because it spins and unrolls so well. Toilet paper is not toxic, but a large amount can cause stomach upset, so call your vet if you think he swallowed a lot.
Closing the bathroom door and placing the roll up high helps prevent a repeat. Providing a cardboard tube or a crinkly toy gives a small dog a safe outlet for shredding.
He sits in the middle of the streamers with the confidence of a tiny celebrity. The decorations are all his, and he is not sharing. Pomeranians love an audience, and this one seems quite certain that the whole house is watching. A broom and a small bit of patience will do the trick.
