A Sphynx Cat Moved Into the Chip Bag and Looks a Bit Sheepish

AI imagesphynxpotato chipsliving room

The Sphynx has found a very crunchy throne. She sits inside a split-open bag of potato chips with golden crisps heaped around her paws and the foil bag curling up behind her like a shell. Her giant ears sweep back, her amber eyes look wary, and her pink wrinkled skin glows against the yellow chips. The living room behind her is a mix of blankets and cluttered shelves.

Hairless cats like Sphynxes tend to seek out warm, snug spots, and a bag can make a surprisingly cozy nest. They are also known as very social, energetic cats that love attention and often follow their people around. A rustling bag is entertainment, and the salty smell is a bonus for a curious nose.

Salty snacks are not good for cats, though. Chips can be oily and heavily seasoned, and flavorings like onion and garlic powder are harmful to them. Foil and plastic bags can also be dangerous if a cat gets stuck inside, so tuck bags away and cut any empty ones open before tossing them. Sphynxes also have sensitive skin that needs gentle care, and your vet can suggest a routine for her.

She looks a little embarrassed, with the ears back and eyes wide, but not enough to leave. After all, the chip bag is soft, warm and full of crumbs, and she has already made herself at home.
