The Bulldog Collected Every Sock in the House and Brought Them Here

AI imagebulldogsockslaundry

A white Bulldog with soft, wrinkled jowls stands on the tile floor with a bundle of socks hanging from his mouth, in dark blue, gray and striped. His ears fold back and his eyes look up with a sheepish expression. A laundry basket spilling over behind him and a ray of sunlight on the floor tell the story. He seems to be carrying the whole drawer.

Bulldogs are calm, friendly dogs with a stubborn side and a big heart for their families. They love comfort and company, and they enjoy carrying soft things around. Their short faces mean they can overheat and breathe heavily, so they need moderate exercise and a cool place to rest, and your vet can guide you on care. Swallowing socks is dangerous for any dog, because fabric can cause blockages, so keep laundry in a closed hamper and call your vet if a sock goes missing.

A plush toy of his own can be a good substitute, and trading a treat for a dropped sock teaches him that giving things back is rewarded.

He looks like he is delivering the laundry, with great pride and no sense of urgency. The socks are slightly damp, but the delivery is complete. Bulldogs have a talent for turning a small crime into a charming performance, and this one does it with wrinkles. Folding the next load may take a bit longer than usual.
